Facts about Saint Cyril
Year of Birth: 376 A.D.
Place: Alexandria, Egypt.
Family: Saint Cyril was the nephew of Theophilus the Patriarch.
Career: Priest, Bishop of Alexandria, and Patriarch of Alexandria in 412 A.D.
Famous For: Refuting Nestorius's claims that Christ had two different natures,
and that the Virgin Mary was not the Mother of God.
Year of Death: 444 A.D. His relics are in Alexandria, Egypt.
